Elle Varner ft. J. Cole – Only Wanna Give It To You

It seems like the folks over at Sony are trying to jumpstart another one of their recent signees' careers by reaching out for the assistance of one of their more prominent hip-hop artists, J. Cole. Four years ago, singer/songwriter/guitar player Elle Varner graduated from NYU's renowned Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music with the "most likely to get signed" and "most likely to win a Grammy" awards. Now, she's working on her debut album, which will feature songs such as this one, "Only Wanna Give It To You". The track has an old school, 90's R&B/hip-hop feel that showcases Varner's voice and songwriting skills.

Naked & Famous Glow In The Dark Raw Denim

Canadian premium denim brand Naked & Famous is known to do things a little different every once in a while. This week they present their new glow in the dark Japanese raw denim. It is not the first time we see this, but it is certainly the best one we have come across so far, because these do not glow a little, they shine. Most importantly, they look completely normal when not in the dark.

“The jeans work because we apply a phosphorescent coating to the fabric in Japan. This coating is baked into the fabric and will absorb light and slowly release that light with an emanating green glow, just like those Glow in the Dark stickers we had on our ceiling as a kid. Another fun aspect of the jeans is after you beat them up a bit the wear patterns will cause the coating to fade in certain parts of the jean and will create a unique piece of glowing art!”

BlackBerry 7 Smartphones

With the BlackBerry 7 operating system, RIM will be releasing 5 new BlackBerry smartphones. All in all the release includes two new Bold smartphones and three new Torch smartphones.
The Bold 9900 and 9930 are the thinnest phones to ever come from RIM and next to the new operating system, also come in a new and improved look. The phone combines both a full keyboard and a touch screen display. The Torch 9800 and 9810 phones sport a large touchscreen display and a full slide-out keyboard. Furthermore the Torch 9850 and 9860 comes without slide-out keyboard and come with the largest BlackBerry display to date.
The new operating system is not only much faster, but comes with improvements on all ends, including a much better browsing experience. As much as we love the iPhone, we still miss the keyboard every once in a while and these new BlackBerry smartphones at least seem worth testing out.
