Here's the latest drop from Asher Roth as he lays down some witty bars over the Boogie Down Productions classic, "The Bridge is Over." With that said, fans eagerly await his sophomore debut The Spaghetti Tree which is slated to release later this year. No word if a mixtape will serve as precursor, but we'll certainly keep you updated.

After dropping Sincerely Yours, The Dance Floor last month, Theo Martins is back with the first song from his next project. This one is called "The Spotlight," featuring the Brooklyn-based electro-pop trio Class Actress.
Here is Theo's description of the impressive song:
"'The Spotlight' is about some of the things that come along with living life the fast life. Fame obviously has its tradeoffs. So for all the cameras flashing and pretty smiles you get, there's also a downside to it. I looked to explore that and take the listener through the thought process of handling it all."

Offered is the brand new visual piece from Wiz Khalifa for his latest cut featuring Chevy Woods titled "Taylor Gang." The song derives from his Cabin Fever mixtape, while his latest album Rolling Papers is available now through iTunes.
Here we have one of the first offerings from the highly anticipated Gunz N' Butta album entitled "Girls Cry." This following the official press release of their album cover and tracklisting. One can't help but notice the Dipset nostalgia on this record and Vado just adds that extra edge. The album is in stores April 19, 2011.

Brand new Wale as he jumps on the Black Cobain record titled "4 A.M." No word on where this track may land up, but both bring forth a nice little one-two punch on this Tone P production. All this made possible courtesy of another Wale twitter drop.

Some new visuals arrived from one of the game's most underrated rappers . In support of his upcoming offering No York, Blu drops the video for his new track "The Explanation". With cinematography by Trevor Wineman and directed by David M. Helman, the clip follows the rapper through the grimier side of his native Southern California. Be on the lookout for No York to drop real soon.
Just in time for Spring/Summer courtesy of his Facebook-page, A-Trak brings forth an All-Star cast for his Stunna shade tribute "Ray Ban Vision". Besides CyHi Da Prynce, Donnis, Pill and latest Fools Gold-signee Danny Brown join the fun. The official download link is on his social network page.

In preparation for his upcoming mixtape with the Alchemist Covert Coup Curren$y liberates a smooth track titled "Ventilation". Since this your typical laid back flow Spitta tune, chances are that Covert Coup will be another sure shot from the New Orleans rapper. There will be two more songs within the next two weeks that should further prove the quality of the tape which comes out April 20th.

Alabama’s own futurist production team Block Beataz puts their expertise on Big K.R.I.T's "Hometown Hero" This remix is from KRIT’s Wuz Here: The Grillade Sessions EP, which will be pressed onto limited vinyl with all proceeds going to The Roots of Music Foundation in New Orleans thanks to Yours Truly, who, in addition to doing beautifully shot videos, are now apparently also releasing records.
Frequent-collaborator Ronnie Fieg, does some serious justice to these Clarks Desert Boot. After recent collaborations with Sebago and three colorways on Clarks Desert boots last November, Fieg’s latest colorway is ready for the rolled-up, tapered denim and chino wear that accompany the Spring. With a muted blue in a matte nubuck, the upper can handle the Spring’s precipitation. Along for the photo shoot are Theopholis London, Morgan of the Saturdays, and Greg Weinstein, each sporting the limited edition model with a few different looks. On Friday, April 8th, only 300 pairs will be released at $92 a pop at David Z.’s flagship location on Broadway and online at the David Z site.

Thes past couple days we have had several run in's with the homies over at G5 threads and I finally got a chance to sit down with them and talk a little about there brand and peep every thing they had to offer. This is a young brand that is coming out of Dallas and has a ton of room to grow and take over the city. Be on the look out for a visual of the homies discussing the plans for thier brand and there vision. Make sure and check em out.
New York City radio airwaves caught an epic premiere last night during Funkmasta Flex's segment on Hot 97. The song features some samples from the late great Christopher Wallace, with some of Busta's (imo) best bars. No word on any new projects from Busta, but perhaps this will be one of his first singles.

Wale announced last week on his twitter that an upcoming track would be underway with Mac Miller. Well that time is upon us, as the two respective emcees go in over the Don Cannon produced record entitled "So What." No word on where this track may landup. One of the greatest rappers from Boston is currently wrapping up his new solo project Faces In The Crowd, and today Ed O.G. drops off the first single from that project titled "Righteous Way." Ed O.G. states this will be one of his best works to date, and with production from likes of DJ Premier and Statik Selektah you can't go wrong. Stay tuned for the album which is set to drop digitally on May 17, 2011.

It looks like Jordan Brand teamed up with Nitro Microphone Underground member XBS on a pack of sneakers. For the Jordan Tokyo 23 initiative the two worked on a Jordan 5 Retro and a Jordan CP3 IV. Both sneakers are highlighted with a warm yellow tone on the upper and feature the Jordan Tokyo 23 logo embroidered on the side-panels. For the launch of the initiative, expected end of May 2011, a website will go live at jordantokyo23.com. Hopefully we are soon able to tell you more about it.

With it being the Chinese Year of the Rabbit, what better paring of animal and shoe than the “Hare” VII's. This limited release features a monochromatic tongue, unlike that of the Bordeaux colorway due out soon, and a simple, direct colorway of white, red, grey, and gold. This shoe definteley at first glance gives much resemblance to the Hare model first released in 1991. Just encase you didn't get your fix with the 16/7 CDP these might do the trick.
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's newest single, "This Weed Iz Mine" has received a visual. This record is not only on Snoop's new Doggumentary album but is also the lead single to the soundtrack for their upcoming movie High School. The movie Highschool drops on April 20th! Both “Rolling Papers” and “The Doggumentary” are in stores now.
Odd Future's own Mike G spits some nice bars over fellow a Golf Wang affiliate, Left Brain produced record titled "Forest Green." This is just a taste of what to expect from Mike G's upcoming album Gold. No official word on when that drops, but stay up on game.

Fresh off the release of his sophomore mixtape, producer Xaphoon Jones is keeping busy. Recently, he and his rapping compadre linked up for this song featuring rising star Mac Miller. The beat features a sample of the classic 1960's song "(Love Is Like A) Heatwave" by Martha and the Vandellas, which inspired the title of this new rendition. The track was produced by Uncle Dave, who I’m unfamiliar with. Nevertheless, this track uses the same sample as fromMikkey Halsted “Ghetto Life” produced by Kanye West.
